My Father: Muhammad Hanif

My Story
My dad’s favourite meal was - Paye His favourite cake - lemon. Favourite dessert (of MANY) - Falooda. Seeing my father deteriorate before me was the most difficult part of my life. Once a strong brave man - now not able to lift his hand to scratch his nose. I knew cancer was bad, but as with many things in life, until you experience it yourself it never hits you. I pray and hope others don’t have to. I pray others don’t have to loose their father like I have. Let’s find a cure. Let’s beat cancer. This February, I’m running 56 miles to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. All of us can support the research that will beat it. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
