I'm fundraising to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I have known and lost many friends and family to this vicious disease and want to make a difference.

In memory of

All the people I have loved and lost to CANCER.

Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

I was initially going to give money to my work colleagues and young people who are climbing Mount Snowden in Wales in July for various charities, then I thought why not do it with them and pick my own charity who would benefit from the money raised.. This will be a big challenge for me as I am not very fit and do not have much time to prepare however we will be walking up Mam Tor in the Peak District in preparation, this will be done at the end of June. The last time I walked up Mount Snowden was 20 years ago when I was in the Territorial Army, much younger and fitter. When I complete this walk, (and I will) it will be a big achievement for me especially as I turn 50 in July, no spring chicken I know. So come on people get behind me and help smash my very modest target and kick cancers' butt.

Thank you for your support and generosity.
