For the survivors, people who have had scares, and the memory of everyone who is no longer with us.
Since being a little girl I have always been aware of Cancer, Growing up I have heard, seen or been involved with family and friends facing it. The women in my family have all suffered from ovarian cancer or have lived with the fear of possibly getting it. Last year my mum had a scare and it put things into perspective for us all but through the scans and tests she smiled laughed and still joked and she was one of the lucky ones to hear the words cancer free Im running for the survivors, people who have had scares and the memory of everyone who is no longer with us 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
