We're raising money for Cancer Research to help continue the search for a cure to all types of cancer.
My Story
Cancer research is a charity close to my heart as I had breast cancer 11 years ago. Thanks to the research carried out and new improved treatments as a result, I'm here today. I have been taking part in the Race for Life 5k since 2009, a year after being diagnosed. My two children have been taking part in it since 2013, with my husband and my in laws supporting us all the way. I'm grateful to be here and to be able to do my bit for such an important cause. Thank you to all our friends and family who have donated for the past 9 years, we hope you'll be doing so again this year as our target is £1000! We want to raise £100 for each year that I've been a part of Race for Life! :)

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
