My Story
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is 24-miles (38.6km) round trip route, and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent. It takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres), usually in this order, and in under 12 hours. These hills form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. On Friday 6th September, 8 members of Socitm will be joining the wider team to help raise money for Cancer Research. The amazing employees we have taking part are - Our incredible CEO Nadira Hussain and her very supportive husband Peter Sass from Wandsworth and Richmond. Our very own local Yorkshireman, Director of Member Service Dave Sanderson. The man of many AMAZING words, Director of Engagement David Ogden. The Royal Highness Queen of Goldvision, Adriana Toma. Last but definitely not least, a man who is no stranger to a challenge, our Policy and Research Director Martin Ferguson. Please donate and help motivate these outstanding people in completely the Three Peaks!
