My Story
Cancer. It is amazing how one 6 letter word can instil fear into thousands of people. It touches all of our lives at some point. Whether it’s a loved one, a family member, a 'chum', or a co-worker… At some point we all know someone who is fighting... or has fought... Sarah, mum of our 3 amazing children and 'Grandma' to our 3 beautiful granddaughters... you are missed every day xx I'm doing my small bit towards helping to rid this earth of this awful disease in all its forms. For those that know me, I've never been a runner (I'm just not built for it), but signing up for this event and the subsequent training has been amazing and proved to me that we all can do anything if we have the right motivation!

Pancreatic cancer
Each year, around 10,800 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the UK. That’s 30 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat pancreatic cancer.
