I’m raising as much as I can to beat cancer

In memory of

Sarah Mays

06 Dec 1966 - 14 Jun 2018

It is amazing how one 6 letter word can instil fear into thousands of people.

It touches all of our lives at some point.

Whether it’s a loved one, a family member, a 'chum', or a co-worker… At some point we all know someone who is fighting... or has fought...

Sarah, mum of our 3 amazing children and 'Grandma' to our 3 beautiful granddaughters... you are missed every day xx

I'm doing my small bit towards helping to rid this earth of this awful disease in all its forms.

For those that know me, I've never been a runner (I'm just not built for it), but signing up for this event and the subsequent training has been amazing and proved to me that we all can do anything if we have the right motivation!

Pancreatic cancer

Survival rates for pancreatic cancer remain stubbornly low in the UK, often because the disease is diagnosed late and is difficult to treat. Help Cancer Research UK make progress in one of the biggest research challenges its scientists are facing – to find better ways to detect and treat the disease.
