My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. As you probably know, too many family and friends have been affected by this horrible disease. 10 years ago we lost our dear friend Catherine and my mum had her diagnosis. Since then so many people close to us have had diagnoses. After completing a marathon last year I wanted a different challenge this year. Something that would still be a challenge and also keep me motivated throughout the year. So this year I am aiming to complete a monthly running challenge- including this one, half way through the year. Update: Completed: 1. Brixton 10k 2. Worthing HM 3. Run for international Women's day 4. Hyde Park 10k 5. Queen Elizabeth Park 5k 6. London 10 mile 7. Race for Life 10k 8. Rye 10k 9. Reigate HM 10. Windsor Dorney Lake 15k To do: 11. Brighton 10k 12. Olympic Park 5k Bonus - run up to Christmas for mind This is because: Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
