My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This January I’m taking on Dryathlon® and raising money for Cancer Research UK. I’ll be ditching the drink for one month to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Please dig deep and donate now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. As most of you will know, I lost my wonderful husband Peter in August 2014. Despite the best efforts of his family and a fabulous oncology team, he died from the complications of bowel cancer. Our 4 beautiful children and I still miss him every single day. In an attempt to help other families from suffering as we still do I will be raising money for Cancer Research in january. Please give generously to a very deserving cause, thank you.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
