My Story
I first took part in the Race for Life for Rhiannon Cusden. As the years have progressed more people I know and care about have had to battle cancer in one form or another, some not surviving. I now take part in memory of Rhiannon and Mark. I also run for Charlie and a few others with a stronger determination than I first started out. Running (or shall I say jogging) is nothing compared to what my friends and family have to go through when it comes to chemotherapy. They have so much strength and I would like to do something to contribute in finding ways to battle this horrible disease. Please help me by donating your small change. Every little donation will go a long way. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
