We're raising as much as we can to beat cancer
Thank you so much for wanting to participate in Requiem to Cancer 2022 (rescheduled from 2020, and again from 2021), the third event of its kind. The first two events have raised more than £68,000 between them and we would really like to hit the £100,000 mark for all three with the event planned for 23-24 September 2022. All the details about the event can be found on the event's website: www.requiemtocancer.org This page can be used by anyone wishing to make a donation to Cancer Research UK's work to find ways of beating this dreadful disease. Its principal purpose, however, is for those who have registered to participate in RtC 2022 on the RtC website to make their own personal donation to CRUK - a minimum of £50 please. You are encouraged also to select the Gift Aid option, which will add even further funds to the pot at no additional cost to you. This year there is also a SuperTeam option where you can set up your own fundraising page for your family and friends, with all the funds raised being included in the overall RtC2022 total. Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
