My Story
Hi my name is Simra and I am 11 years old. I want to raise money for Cancer research because Cancer is such an awful disease which so many people are diagnosed with. My aunty Sophia had Stage 4 cancer and against all odds she fought it and no longer has the dreadful disease. I hope that by raising money to the extremely amazing researchers, people with cancer can fight it just as my aunty did and live to see an outstanding future awaiting ahead of them. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
