I am running for my Nan who survived it, my Grandad who is fighting it, my mate Rob who battled with it and won, for everyone who will fight it in the future and everyone around them that suffers too!

My Story

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime so please donate whatever you can to help fight it now! My Nan had Cancer and beat it. My Grandad has Cancer and is fighting it. My close friend Rob had Cancer and also was victorious. ... but we are not all as fortunate to win that battle. So many people around us have stories of lost loved ones, friends and family who have won or lost the fight with Cancer - let us honour them by running and donating anything to help us one day cure it forever.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
