In memory of
Ronan Walsh and Martin Highmore
Most of us know someone who has been affected by cancer. I have lost dear friends to the disease. Cancer isn't fair. Ronan was struck down in his prime. A husband and father to three young children, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He approached the diagnosis the same way he approached everything in life... by tearing the arse out of it. He remains an inspiration to me every time I feel like giving up. Cancer doesn't discriminate. Martin was a highly-valued friend and colleague. Sharp of mind and generous of spirit, he contracted a very rare and aggressive form of skin cancer. Ronan and Martin are just two of many. Two too many. Let's fight back. Please help me by giving what you can. BAML donators can apply firm matching. This, combined with tax relief on your donation will MORE THAN DOUBLE your contribution. Thanks for reading this far. Please donate.
CAUSE
Pancreatic cancer
Survival rates for pancreatic cancer remain stubbornly low in the UK, often because the disease is diagnosed late and is difficult to treat. Help Cancer Research UK make progress in one of the biggest research challenges its scientists are facing – to find better ways to detect and treat the disease.
