I decided to do the challenge after seeing a lot of family members and friends diagnosed with or passing away from cancer. And after a work colleague and very good friend was diagnosed with cancer to the brain at age 28 in December 2015. “After several months of treatment and well in remission he was sadly told August 2019 he will have to start treatment again. When we were sitting in an office one day chatting, I said ‘I will ride to Land's End for Cancer Research UK.’ And it started from there Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
