Anybody who knows me, knows the incredibly close bond I have with my mum - she’s my best friend, my rock and ultimately the best person I know. Unfortunately since 2016 she’s had an ongoing battle against cancer but being the strong, incredible woman she is she keeps continuing to kick it’s arse. Sadly, after being an unashamedly MASSIVE fan of girls aloud when I was growing up - I was devastated to hear of Sarah Harding’s passing last year and found myself really effected by it after having been surrounded by in it in my family for the last few years. This Sunday I will be running the race for life for Sarah - and my amazing mum- in Hyde Park - if anyone would like to sponsor me, that would be very much appreciated
CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
