Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. As you may or may not know, I lost my lovely mum Leo to cancer at the tender age of 17. Lots of my amazing friends and family have rode their own storms when the big C has struck again so it’s a charity which is close to home for me and mine! This February, I’m running 56 miles to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. All of us can support the research that will beat it. Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
