My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. As you may or may not know, I lost my lovely mum Leo to cancer at the tender age of 17. Lots of my amazing friends and family have rode their own storms when the big C has struck again so it’s a charity which is close to home for me and mine! This February, I’m running 56 miles to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. All of us can support the research that will beat it. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
