Thank you for visiting our page. All of us have been touched by cancer - some of the stories have a happy ending but others don't. We want to see a world where there are more happy endings, more survivors of cancer and more tomorrows with our families and friends. SidStock started in 2009 as a means of bringing together our love of music and our friends and has been growing ever since. It's about getting together, having fun and for everyone to have the chance to enjoy live music and to give it a go. We've chosen not to charge for the event but to instead make it a fundraiser for Cancer Research UK in memory of Sid's dad and the others who have lost their lives to cancer. Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
