My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. We have all sadly lost a loved one, a friend, a work collegue or a neighbour etc to Cancer at some point in our lives which is the reason that research must continue with the help of fundraising so that more effective treatment can be found for all the many types of cancer that affect so many.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
