Alternatively please visit our blog at: shona-mike-lejog24.blogspot.com Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are fundraising for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! The fundraising challenge we are attempting is to walk from Lands End to John O’Groats. What about us? By the time we start this huge, or as a young friend of ours used to say “mahoosive” challenge, we will have been married for 48 years (this clearly indicates we are not in the first flush of youth). However, like thousands of others, we have family and friends who have been affected by cancer and as keen walkers, who have been blessed with good health and hopefully the ability and endurance to complete the challenge felt moved to put our time and energy into raising financial support for Cancer Research UK. This means walking between the furthest two points of the UK, which is 894 miles as the crow flies, but as we are not crows we will need to walk 1200-1300 miles. We know we cannot do this in our own strength and are grateful for the prayerful support and encouragement from our family, friends and also Church family at Miller Hall. Thank you again for all your support.
