As a mark of respect, I am running the Royal Parks Half Marathon this October in memory of my family and friends who have lost their battle with Cancer, for those who are trying to beat it and to help raise sponsorship for Cancer Research UK. Training for the half marathon is not the easiest thing, particularly on these dark winter mornings and evenings. I have done a few charity runs before, but only shorter distances and never with a cause truly close to my heart. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose!
