Shelley's Race for Life

So in March 2015 I heard the words that I never thought I would hear "you have breast cancer and will need a mastectomy". My first thought was that I was going to die (dramatic I know!). Now 2 years later after 3 operations life is just getting back to normal, well my normal before breast cancer ?? the NHS have been absolutely fantastic to me I am every grateful for all the research, medications and technology that has helped me over come breast cancer. But things are always changing and evolving so more research is always needed. This is why myself and some fab friends are taking part in race for life. For all those people who have had cancer, for the people fighting it now and for those less fortunate who didn't make it. Let's kick cancers butt!!!!
