My Story

I have lost several members of my family to cancer but on the 12th September 2014 my world, and my family's world was turned upside down when my Mum was diagnosed with lung cancer. She passed away 6 weeks later, 24th October 2014, at the age of 63, no age at all. I hope that by raising money to help research this awful disease it may give other families more precious time with their loved ones. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
