My mum was the most loving and generous woman I know.
In memory of
Sheila Punchard
12th Jun 1948 - 15th Dec 2013
It's been 3 and a half years since we lost my mum and I now feel strong enough to do the race for life in her memory. She had a short but hard fight with pancreatic cancer, but kept her beautiful spirit right till the very end. I hope with enough support we can beat this silent killer and nobody has to watch loved ones die this way. Shortly after mum died my mother in law Brenda Rollinson died of the same awful disease, we must do as much as possible to stop pancreatic cancer. CAUSE
Pancreatic cancer
Survival rates for pancreatic cancer remain stubbornly low in the UK, often because the disease is diagnosed late and is difficult to treat. Help Cancer Research UK make progress in one of the biggest research challenges its scientists are facing – to find better ways to detect and treat the disease.
