Shawn's Cycle 300 Fundraising Page

Thanks for taking a moment to stop by my fundraising page. This September I will be riding (at least) 300 miles in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Why am I doing this then? Well there are two main reasons. Firstly and more selfishly, I am using this as an opportunity to get myself back into fitness. Those who know me know that at the moment I am not in peak condition! so this really is a challenge and one I intend on beating! But more importantly its about raising money to help us, together, beat Cancer. I have no doubt that without the advances in medical science, helped by the funding we provide, I would not have had the extended time I had with my Nan and Grandad. You take time with your loved one for granted sometimes and I am grateful that I got the quality of time I did with my grandparents who I miss to this very day. Every penny really does makes a huge difference to vital cancer research so please show your support with a donation to my page.
