My Story
Longest Day Up is a motorbike challenge to travel from Land’s End to John O'Groats on the longest day of the year between sunrise and sunset. Bikes must have been bought for no more than £600. Myself, and two close friends, will be joining a group of motorbike enthusiasts on an endurance challenge to raise money an awareness for Cancer Research UK. The Longest Day Up is a worthy challenge that I'm thrilled to be involved with. The opportunity to get involved in a challenge that will also benefit so many others makes it all the more worthwhile. I'll be attempting the journey on my Yamaha XJ600. Bought in early March as a non runner but in good condition. I have since got the XJ running and ready to take on 1000 miles in a single day.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
