My Story
Training for the Oxford Half Marathon 2025 has officially begun! Some of you may remember last year when I completed my first 10k race (under an hour—still aiming to beat that time!). This year, I’m stepping up the challenge and pushing myself even further to run my very first half marathon. It’s a big leap, but I’m determined to give it my all. Last year, with your incredible support, I raised £500 for Mind, and I was absolutely blown away by the generosity of everyone who contributed. This year, I’m aiming to raise even more for a cause that’s close to my heart—Cancer Research UK. I’ve set a target of £1,000 because I’m running double the distance, and I know with your help, we can smash this goal together! Cancer is a cruel disease that takes far too many loved ones from us, and it’s something that has affected me deeply. This race is dedicated to my aunt Adri, who we lost to cancer last year. It’s also for all those who have battled, and are still battling, this terrible disease. I’m asking for your support once again. Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a huge difference in the fight for a cure.
