My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I'm letting my dogs, Marley, Nellie and Betty take the lead on beating cancer and walking every single day of the month to raise money for Cancer Research UK. We all have very short legs so walking everyday to hit our steps goal will be a challenge for us all 😂. We have lost family members to this awful disease including my wonderful father -in-law Valmon and my beautiful nan’s Nellie and Gladys. We want to be a part of making a difference to find a cure so more people can fight and beat it. Cancer Research UK are the only charity fighting over 200 types of cancer and receive no government funding for their work. Every step taken towards beating cancer relies on every pound donated. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
