My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I am at my happiest when I am walking with my bestie Kendal and my husband Lee and we have walked miles together, this is when I have time to reflect on life and count my blessings. A lot of this time is taken up of thinking of my dad (Peter) who we lost to cancer in 2014. He was only 69 and had so much more to offer this strange world we now find ourselves living in. Not a day goes past when I don't wish he was here to get his opinion on something or tell him a silly joke or just sit in the room with him reading his paper. He was such a special person, so kind hearted, clever, interesting and interested and we need people in this world like him. Any money you can spare to help Cancer Research save our special treasures like my dad, who make this world a better place to live in would be extremely well received. Thankyou Sharon x x x
