My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. I was introduced to a special group of ladies a few years ago, at the time one of these ladies had not long been diagnosed with Cancer, my first impression when meeting Amanda was oh my god how brave? She was so upbeat & positive about everything and had the most beautiful smile, sadly I only managed a few outings with Amanda and she lost her battle earlier this year, Amanda's not the only friend /family I've lost to Cancer there's been far too many each fought it in their own way, on July 7th for the first time ever I'm participating in something not just to raise money but just for the awareness and feel very honoured to be part of Our Amanda's Army. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so if you can spare just the Smallest amount every penny is grateful for 🥰

With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
