My Story
Many of you know that up until 3 years ago, I would never have dreamed that I would learn to run! My motto was always "I don't do running" How things have changed! I run for my health, both physically and mentally and although I currently cannot run any great distances due to health issues, this is something that I continue to develop. My current goal is to run the Race for Life which on this occasion is 5km. Cancer is happening right now. Almost all of us will know someone who has had, or is currently fighting cancer and this is currently something that is very close to home. So if I am going to run....I can at least make a small contribution to the continuing efforts by Cancer Research UK to beat cancer and save lives.
