I’m raising money to beat cancer, in the hope that no-one will have to lose a loved one to this disease again!

My Story
As most people will know I started running in April, completing the Couch to 5k, and now run 6k three times a week. I have decided to set myself the target of running the 2019 Bath Half Marathon and will be combining this with raising money for a something very close to my heart, Cancer Research UK. I lost my Mum 10 years ago to cancer and have lost other friends in recent years. Thankfully my Dad has survived this horrible disease twice and I want to be part of ensuring more people survive. Every time I feel negative I think of all those people who have lost their lives, including my Mum, and it reminds me why I am doing this. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose!
