Granny Linda and grandad David
Me and Little Ed are taking part in half marathon walk to raise money for cancer. We lost my father in law David to pancreatic cancer 12 years ago. My mother in law Linda will b gone a year on the 21 September from lung cancer. Cancer is a horrible disease and terrible to watch a loved one go through it. Eddie decided we should do this to raise as much as we can in loving memory of his granny and grandad. Hopefully they can find a cure someday.
CAUSE
Pancreatic cancer
Survival rates for pancreatic cancer remain stubbornly low in the UK, often because the disease is diagnosed late and is difficult to treat. Help Cancer Research UK make progress in one of the biggest research challenges its scientists are facing – to find better ways to detect and treat the disease.
