My Story
Roadchef is delighted to partner with Cancer Research UK. Our mission is to raise £100,000 for life saving research. Cancer survival rates have doubled in the past forty years and now 2 in 4 people receiving a cancer diagnosis will survive. But that is not enough. Cancer Research UK’s ambition is to reach 3 in 4 people surviving cancer within the next twenty years. Roadchef’s support will help fund 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses as they work across all 200 different types of cancer. With Roadchef’s help we can beat cancer sooner. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
