My Mum!
My Story
I will be running the TCS London Marathon on Sunday 2nd October 2022! For those who know me, long-distance running is something I only got into during lockdown and since then I’ve committed to a couple half marathons in Cambridge 😰However, this is going to be the BIG ONE - the most challenging and toughest yet!!! I will be running for Cancer Research UK, a charity close to my heart, in memory of my mum who sadly passed away when I was 4 💗 Their continued research along with our support is helping to save thousands of lives. Normal people tend to train for 9 to 12 months before a marathon. Sadly, I don’t have this privilege - I have been prioritising my Masters at University of Cambridge (sounds like an excuse Sharena 😅) and I find myself with 3 months until the BIG DAY 😰 I promise to train tirelessly. I’ll be providing you with daily/weekly updates and you can follow all the progress on Instagram: @sharenashiv I am aiming to raise £5,000 and this is only achievable with your support. I would really appreciate any donations/support from you 🙏🏽 Please contribute as little or as much as you feel comfortable to afford (maybe forgo a cheeky Deliveroo/Uber for the week!)
