Shannon & Jane’s Veg Pledge

Thank you for taking a look at our fundraising page! Mum and I will be taking on the veg pledge this November for Cancer Research UK for my Grandad (Mum’s Dad) who was living with Leukaemia for a long time before he died. It’s hard to see someone you love living with such a horrible disease, especially while living with dementia at the same time. We try and do what we can to help those going through the same thing, particularly as we saw first hand what it can do to, not only the person, but to everyone around them. Our family on the whole eat meat most of the week so it is going to be difficult avoiding it for the whole month! Most people know someone who is struggling with cancer, or maybe have had an experience with cancer themselves - anything you can give will be a huge help to get us to our target, and will go into life saving research to eliminate cancer for good!
