Walsall 5k 2020
Sun 6 Sep 2020 - Sun 6 Sep 2020
I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner! In memory of my Mum, who sadly passed away due to bowel cancer in 2009. She was only 37 and had two children!
In memory of
My Mum, Georgina Wasley
9th Nov 1971 - 22nd Jan 2009
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. - - My mum was my first best friend, she taught me near most everything, when she died.. A part of me also died, I am now living from the aftermath of how cancer and grief destroyed our family. I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder on February 2019 due to grief of my beautiful mum passing away causing the illness to be triggered. I am now fighting each day to beat this illness and to make my mum proud of of my life and my brother. What she should be here with her family to see it in person instead of visiting her grave on special occasions such as my birthday or my brothers. She won’t be able to see us grow up and have our own families and that is heartbreaking.
