Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. In April, my beloved Grandmother passed away after a long battle with cancer. She had cancer twice before her unfortunate passing. First, she was diagnosed with lung cancer when I was 10 years old - eventually beating that cancer. The second time, she was diagnosed with ear cancer - just last year, when I was 13. Now, at 14, I am avidly fundraising to help others like my Grandmother in hope that no one else will have to feel the futility and pain of the loss that my family has faced. I will be participating with my Auntie but we are fundraising separately. Please donate and thank you for reading this.
