I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

In memory of

Linda Batey (Brown)

24 Nov 1954 - 09 Apr 2018

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

In April, my beloved Grandmother passed away after a long battle with cancer. She had cancer twice before her unfortunate passing. First, she was diagnosed with lung cancer when I was 10 years old - eventually beating that cancer. The second time, she was diagnosed with ear cancer - just last year, when I was 13.

Now, at 14, I am avidly fundraising to help others like my Grandmother in hope that no one else will have to feel the futility and pain of the loss that my family has faced.

I will be participating with my Auntie but we are fundraising separately.
Please donate and thank you for reading this.
