My Story
WE ARE RUNNING 10K! Everyone knows someone that has been affected by cancer, whether that be family or friends and we are running on behalf of you all. We both know we are not the fittest of girls but we want to make a difference as every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer and one in two people in their life time will be diagnosed with the disease. Cancer research fundraising goes towards furthering the incredible research into finding a cure for 200 types of cancer and is completely funded by public donations. Your donation however big or small will make real difference to the research that is carried out and will help save lives. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
