My Story
Cancer is something that touches all of us, and has affected my family as it likely has yours. Every two minutes in the UK, someone is diagnosed with cancer, and this doesn't just change their lives, but also the lives of everyone around them. Cancer Research does important work to beat cancer and ease the impact it has on so many of us. I'm running my first ever race (eek!) to raise as much money as possible and actively join the fight against cancer, hopefully one day leading to world where this horrible illness will no longer affect families and individuals all over the world.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
