Virgin Money London Marathon 2018
I’m raising as much as I can to beat cancer. I will be running the London Landmarks half marathon in 2019. To prepare I will be running several events including the London Marathon.
I will be running the London Landmarks half marathon in 2019, the charity I have chosen to raise money for is Cancer Research UK. In preparation for this I will be running the 2018 London Marathon, I also completed the 2018 London Landmarks half marathon and the Virgin sport Big Half marathon. In 2019 I will run the Cancer Research UK London Winter run. My sister Jacqueline Kennedy was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in 2014, 3 years and 6 months later she is cancer free. With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
