Cancer is affecting thousands in the UK and i want to try and do my part to help. Taking part in this cause is driving me to raise money to help those suffering from this disease and to help SAVE LIVES through this exciting event. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. One happened to be my dear father. My dad was affected by Cancer longer than we knew and was only diagnosed with Bone Cancer in 2016 when he was abroad in Bangladesh on holiday after suffering from back pain for months. The UK doctors didn't further the treatment for my dad and only prescribed him pain killers, and so i want to raise awareness for recognising cancer earlier. Even as small as muscle pain or continuous back ache needs to be looked into by your GP. Unfortunately for my dad the cancer developed within his spine which resulted in his body becoming weak as well as slowly losing his mobility. It was such a heartwrenching time for me and my family and to witness someone who was always so strong and able was enough to bring tears to your eyes continuously every day. When a patient suffers from bone cancer, the bodys ability to repair damage to tissue surrounding a bone weakens, which means there is a high risk of bone damage or even could result in a break in a bone. The pain that a person experiences is something which i have witnessed and it is unbearable. The cancer did spread and unfortunately the treatment which my dad did get couldn't save his life. On the 19/11/2017 i lost my dad to cancer. This is why i need your help to raise as much as i can to help people like my dad to beat this!
