My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. Cancer can affect anyone even if you are young or old. It also comes in various types as there are different types of cancer. There are more than 360,000 new cancer causes in the UK every year and that is a huge number and these statistics have been provided by the Cancer Research UK and on a daily basis, someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer every 2 minutes!! This shows that cancer is really common and it can affect anyone as well as different types of cancers are appearing all day. This is why I will be participating in the 5K run this Sunday to help as many people who have cancer or who has been affected by cancer or they know of someone going through cancer. My late grandfather passed away of cancer and it’s going to be 4 years soon in June and I will be dedicating this run to my grandfather and this will be in memory of him. This is another reason why I will be running the 5K for cancer on Sunday. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me and it would mean a lot to me. I would like to thank everyone for the ongoing support and for everyone who is taking time to donate to Cancer Research as this means a lot to me as it will help to save as many lives as possible. Once again thank you very much.
