My Story
Thank you for sparing your time to visit my fundraiser page for Cancer Research UK. My name is Shaan Deonarine and I’m currently a second year student reading Pharmacology at the University of Glasgow. All of your generous donations will be forwarded to fund new research into new therapeutic approaches with the penultimate aim of treating a wide range of malignancies.

Developing better treatments
From testing new therapies to finding better ways of using existing therapies, our clinical trials have helped improve cancer treatment. But these treatments don’t work for everyone and can have short- and long-term side effects. With your support, we can find kinder, more effective treatments so that people can live longer, better lives.
