My Story

I am walking 10k on 15 September to raise as much as I can for Cancer Research UK. Everyone you speak to knows someone who has been affected by cancer. I lost my mum to breast cancer when I was 17. She was only 47! However I know people who were diagnosed with cancer and subsequently got all clear after treatment. This is due to the essential research done by Cancer Research who are striving to find cure for this disease. If anyone of us can do anything to help beat cancer then we should. Please don’t forget to gift aid as it makes a huge difference. Thank you!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
