My Story
A few months ago, my beautiful Mum was diagnosed with grade 4 brain tumours. It was a massive shock to her and all the family, particularly as there weren't many signs or symptoms. It's been a tough few months but Mum has been incredibly brave and strong throughout her surgeries and treatment. When Callan heard about the Shine Night Walk on the radio, he asked if we could do it for Gran, so we are taking part to raise money for brain cancer research. Given my current fitness level, it will definitely be a challenge, especially keeping up with Callan! The money we raise will go towards finding more effective treatments and hopefully a cure so patients and their families can have more time together.
