Sean's 4x4x48 challenge

Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. I will be attempting to complete the David Goggins 4 x 4 x 48 Challenge. The aim is to 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. The challenge was created by David Goggins who is an Ex Navy Seal and Ultra runner from USA. This challenge will mean running through the night and day no matter what the weather conditions are. On Friday 21st May I will begin running 4 miles (6.5km) every 4 hours for 48 hours finishing with the final run on Sunday 23rd May. I will be running 48 miles (77km) in two days which is the equivalent to just under 2 marathons on very minimal sleep. I don't particularly enjoy running so this will be a big test mentally and physically. 1 in 2 people are likely to be diagnosed with cancer so it's important to raise awareness and do what we can help to help fund the research to cure the disease.
