My Story
I think most people if not everyone has either had experience with someone close to them having cancer or know someone who has it. The sad truth is 1 in 2 people in the UK will get cancer at some point in their life. This is a sickening truth we have to accept. However, what we do not need to accept is not to do anything about it. Therefore, why I have chosen to run a marathon in the name of cancer research. I run Manchester marathon with the hope one day I will have made a difference to the lives of people suffering with cancer. It will be a long battle and one I have to face knowing people close to me have suffered and sadly passed away because of it. Just as I use their strength in the times I struggle, I shall use their strength in this marathon. Any donation small or big is hugely helpful and doesn't just drive me to run the marathon but more importantly helps the ones in need of it. Please join our united battle against cancer.
