I’ve decided to run Race for Life as I have a number of friends and family members currently diagnosed with cancer so I want to try to help them and many others beat this terrible disease 🏃🏼‍♀️😐

So with the help of my two best friends, and boyfriend I’ve decided to enter Race for Life as I have a number of friends and family members currently diagnosed with cancer so I want to try to help them in some way, and to all those who are currently battling.

Unfortunately, we all know or have someone within immediate friends and family that have, or are currently dealing with this awful disease. As you know, unless we are doctors, there’s very little we can do to help, except to be there and support throughout their ongoing struggles.

Cancer appears to be getting closer and closer to home, however, the success rate of beating cancer is on the rise - two of my very own best friends have beaten this motherfucker, and so I would like to help and support others to do the same.

No, it’s not a marathon... and yes, it is only 5k but it’s better than nothing. I’m not going to use a ‘typical fundraising phrase’ but please do remember every penny counts and will bring us closer to our goal.

Let’s just hope with the help of my two best friends and boyfriend, I’ll be fit and ready to finish the race strong! 💪😐🏃🏼‍♀️
