My Story
In January 2017 my Grandad was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer. This was a huge shock for us all as my Grandad has always been fit and healthy. The doctors told us that he only had a matter of months to live and we should start to make the most of the time we had left. We are now a year on and my Grandad is still fighting strong. Along the way he has made us all laugh and smile with his jokes and we are all really proud of how amazing he has been during this difficult time. Although his cancer is incurable and he has had to go through some of the hardest days of his life, we are so grateful to everyone who has been a part of this journey to make him more comfortable in his final years, months, weeks and days. The money raised will fund Cancer Research UK’s life-saving research. Thank you so much for your support!
