My Story
The Miss Great Britain Organisation have raised over £330,000 for Cancer Research UK in 6 incredible fundraising years. In 2025 alone they raised almost £90,000. Not only this, the finalists have shared vital awareness on different cancer types and been advocates for screening and campaigning for change. Together we are funding life saving research and helping women and men across the UK be even more cancer aware. We thank you for your vital support in our mission to keep families together for longer. Together we are beating cancer!

CAUSE
Lung cancer
Each year more than 43,500 people are diagnosed with lung cancer in the UK. We urgently need to drive progress so that more people survive their disease. Cancer Research UK is at the forefront in lung cancer research and is funding various projects to tackle the disease head on. This includes the TRACERx study, Cancer Research UK’s largest investment into lung cancer to date. This study has already transformed our understanding of how lung cancer evolves and is continuing to shed light on how to prevent, detect and treat the disease.
